One of the biggest challenges facing a network marketer is the ability to motivate people to become the best they can be.
Sam Walton said it best when he said "If we work together, we’ll lower the cost of living for everyone…we’ll give the world an opportunity to see what it’s like to save and have a better life.
Most true network marketing professionals accept that the first year is the most difficult in motivating people to duplicate the example you teach for success, sometimes not breaking even or finding limited success while they are working the hardest they have ever worked.
The following statement from Sam Walton truly exemplifies network marketing: “There’s absolutely no limit to what ordinary, working people can accomplish if they’re given the opportunity, encouragement and the incentive to do their best.”
Network Marketers also understand that payback comes in spades after the initial investment. The experience and knowledge you will gain while building a successful business is priceless. It is from our failures that we learn how to do it better and continue to rise.
"A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him." ~David Brinkley
You know that by learning the required skills, staying on the leading edge of the industry, working your plan and most importantly, maintaining your vision, you can begin to realize the exponential growth that is possible.
There are important actions that the top earners in the industry in which everyone looks to for leadership and training, know that when accomplished, move the scales in your favor to your business growth.
The following are the important factors that make the difference in both the timing of and the level or degree to which you will see results.
You will be surprised at how actually simple the actions are, but this much is true: Almost every one that has achieved multiple 6 & 7 figure incomes agree that there are key factors/actions in which their fortunes began to change. The overwhelming consensus resonates around these actions in particular:
1) Writing down your "Why?" How many times have you heard this or read this one from the leaders? It is in your dreams, your expectations that your success awaits. Write down what YOU SEE YOURSELF DOING (Be very keen of the PRESENT tense in that statement!) once you are making $10K, $50k and more a month. Be an optimist, you must be able to see beyond the present.
You may think it’s not important to write it down because you have it in your head. However, until you write it down, it can not begin to manifest itself into reality. This has been said over and over again throughout time. If you do not understand this, then you must read the book "The Secret"
Now keep that goal and vision in mind by reading it daily. Create a Vision Board that helps you visualize your Why. This will compel you to consistently challenge yourself and persist when the going gets tough or slow. Keep this in mind “To tend, unfailingly, unflinchingly, towards a goal, is the secret of success.” ~Anna Pavlova
When you see results and have that sense of satisfaction from those results, you then bolster your belief. "If you take responsibility for yourself you will develop a hunger to accomplish your dreams." ~Les Brown
2) Having Belief – You can have your "Why", your plans and goals, however - until you believe and fully expect those things will develop, you will slow the level of success that is possible and you definitely deserve.
Believe in your success! Take a look at this Jack Canfield video
It is in this belief that you should always think in terms of the present when writing down your plans and goals. When you begin to reach your goals, it helps to foster that belief., but fully expect those results before they happen! Again, you must be the optimist here and see beyond the present.
Sometimes it may be difficult to maintain that belief by yourself, this is why you should always have a good leader & mentor, one from which you might gain insight, motivation, experience and leadership. A leader & mentor is measured by the followers they have inspired to lead.
3) Attending networking events and company conventions. These functions provide you with critical training and motivation and is essential for building belief both in yourself and what you are doing.
When you surround yourself with those who are having tremendous success, and you are doing what they are doing, you will begin to emulate that success. You will also get to meet and bond with your leadership and their teams as well as your own. Often we are geographically separated from our team in this day of internet business therefore more important to network with the successful to stay motivated and focused.
You will demonstrate leadership to your team that may not be able to attend the event, and will be able to pass along to them the same skills, motivation and belief that you have attained. When you attend the next event and your team is with you you will see the leadership and believe in the results!
Although there are other critical things to ensure your success, the actions I have stated above are the ones that have been proven over and over again that move the scales in your favor to massive success in MLM.
You must also remember that as you achieve your goals, you must continually refine and update those goals and plans of action. It is in this realignment of our goals that we are able to continue to expand and grow. “However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.” ~Winston Churchill
At a recent event held by several multiple 6 & 7 figure MLM earners there was a consistent emphasis on "PLAN-DO-REVIEW-ADJUST" throughout the event, along with the key points discussed here.
While not to overlook the basic fundamentals for success in your network marketing business, the following are key factors in a successful network marketer:
* personal development (confidence, vision, knowing how to talk to people - always improve yourself with education)
* choosing the right company (Due your due diligence on evaluating policies and procedures, compensation plans, and products)
* utilizing a simple, easily duplicatable training and marketing system,
My point is that when all of these are combined with the three aspects of growth I have outlined above, you WILL succeed in reaching your goals and have no choice other than success.
If you need a mentor to help you with any of these elements of success I will help you, as long as you have a desire to succeed and above all are coachable and willing.
"Pursue your passion with faith and tenacity and you will bring your destiny into reality." ~Chris Widener
